DESIGNED WITH PURPOSE
Form, function and proportion are considered before decoration.
Tazein’s journey began in late 2016 with decorative and interior objects shaped through metal and stainless steel.
In 2020, the design language evolved with a stronger Iranian point of view, introducing bowls and small plates inspired by familiar local forms.
At the beginning of 2023, the collection was presented at an exhibition in Turkey, bringing the work into a wider international setting.
Today, natural brass remains at the centre of the collection, sometimes combined with beech wood and high-quality stainless steel. From casting to final packing, each stage is shaped by handwork and close attention to finish.
Since 2020, familiar Iranian references have become part of Tazein’s design language. Rather than reproducing traditional forms, the collection translates them into contemporary serving objects through proportion, restraint and detail.

The making process moves through casting, shaping, finishing and final packing. Much of that journey is guided by hand, so subtle variations remain as a natural trace of the process rather than a flaw to be hidden.

Natural brass forms the core of the material palette, sometimes paired with beech wood or high-quality stainless steel. Warmth, reflection, grain and weight are treated as part of the design itself.

Four principles run through the collection: considered design, expressive materials, handwork and close attention to consistency.
Form, function and proportion are considered before decoration.
Brass, beech wood and stainless steel give each collection a distinct presence.
Hand-finished work carries subtle variations that make every piece individual.
Finish, balance and visual consistency are carefully controlled throughout the process.
